SGA offers a generous medical insurance plan through CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield. Employees are able to choose any CareFirst medical insurance plan that best suits their situation. No matter the plan selected, SGA pays 100% of medical insurance premiums for employees, their partners, and minor children.
SGA offers Traditional Dental and BlueVision Plus insurance plans through CareFirst. SGA pays 100% of dental & vision insurance premiums for employees and their dependents.

When an employee reaches 6 months of service, they are eligible to make pre-tax contributions to Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) for medical and/or dependent care expenses.
Life and Disability Insurance
All employees are enrolled in SGA’s employer sponsored short-term disability, long-term disability, and life insurance (benefit amount for life insurance is equal to one year’s annual salary.


You are immediately eligible to participate in SGA’s 401(k). Whether or not you elect to contribute your own funds, SGA contributes 3% of your salary annually to your account beginning after 30 days of service.
Paid Time Off


SGA pays for 100% of employees’ monthly commute by public transportation. Benefit accommodates persons with physical disability by covering parking expenses in the office up to the allowed IRS max per calendar year.
We support staff to continue their professional learning journey through classes, training, and events through a professional development budget.
