The Center for Zoning Solutions is our home for the zoning reform movement. We share research and reports, lead federal advocacy efforts, and support communities across the country to tackle barriers to smart growth and advance policies to encourage mixed-use development and diverse housing options.

We offer educational courses and a webinar series, including:

FBC 101: ABCs of Form-Based Codes: Introduction to form-based codes.
FBC 201: Placemaking with Form-Based Codes: Advanced techniques for creating great places.
FBC 301: Adopting and Administering the Code: Practical guidance for implementation.

Technical assistance and workshops

We provide hands-on assistance and workshops to help communities implement effective zoning solutions. Our services include:

Code Reviews and Audits: Assessing existing codes and recommending improvements.
